The Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (aka the ASE) is the only nationally recognized organization that tests and certifies automotive service professionals.  Service Technicians (mechanics) who achieve certain levels of service training and demonstrate their proficiency earn awards: ASE Certified and ASE Master Technicians.  Master Technicians have multiple certifications and are usually quite experienced as well.

Well, the ASE has a program for companies that excel at hiring and developing qualified service professionals.  That program is called the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence Recognized Business.  Proudly, Animas Automotive is the only ASE Blue Seal shop in Durango and for miles around.  Only about one in about 150 ever qualify.
